Tapestry Collection by Hilton recently celebrated its remarkable 150th hotel opening, marking a significant milestone in the brand's global expansion. This achievement comes after five bold first-in-country and territory debuts in Australia, Bonaire, Paraguay, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates over the past year. Each of these hotels offers unique experiences, contributing to the brand's diverse portfolio across 20 countries and territories.
The collection has expanded its global footprint by an impressive 50 percent in just two years, growing from 100 hotels in January 2023 to 150 in January 2025. This rapid growth is driven by a commitment to delivering authentic stay experiences in new destinations worldwide. Notable additions include The Motley Hotel Richmond, which embodies the creative energy of Melbourne, and Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, which brings neoclassical charm and Spanish modernism to Paraguay.
Elizabeth Scruggs has been appointed as the new Global Brand Leader of Tapestry Collection. With over 14 years of experience at Hilton, including roles in owner relations and supply management, Scruggs is well-positioned to lead the brand into its next chapter of success. "Joining Tapestry Collection at such a pivotal moment presents an incredible opportunity," said Elizabeth Scruggs. "We are creating new opportunities for guests to immerse themselves in destinations worth exploring."
Looking ahead, Tapestry Collection is on track to have the most significant number of openings in one year with over 40 expected worldwide in 2025. The pipeline includes upcoming debuts in Türkiye, Northern Ireland (United Kingdom), and Umbria (Italy). Notably, The Ritus Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet is set to open in spring 2025 as the first Tapestry Collection hotel in Türkiye. Similarly, The Marcus Portrush is anticipated for Northern Ireland, bringing a new vibrancy to the coastal town with a design inspired by its surroundings.
These developments underscore Tapestry Collection's dedication to expanding its global presence while maintaining a focus on unique and authentic experiences for travelers.
