The Hamburg Food Festival is set to return with a bang on September 27-28, 2025. This year, the event promises to be even more exciting, with over 120 special brands, engaging stories, and a wealth of expert knowledge in taste education workshops. The festival will transform the large market into a culinary paradise, offering visitors a unique experience.

Attendees can explore the kitchens of trendy restaurants and enjoy personalized meals from the chefs themselves. The event will also feature regional craft beers, fine wines, and spectacular cocktail creations. In addition to these culinary delights, the festival will have a Local Heroes zone where visitors can discover regional delicacies, fresh ideas in the startup area, and authentic handmade foods.

For those with a bigger appetite, the Pop-Up Kitchen will serve creative dishes from some of the city's most popular restaurants. And what would a food festival be without the perfect drink? The Tide & Tonic Bar will mix refreshing cocktails and more.

The event will also feature special events such as Food Pioneers on stage, where guests can experience food with all their senses. There will be cooking demonstrations and experiments on the FOODBOOM Kitchen Stage with Hannes Arendholz. Beer enthusiasts can enjoy the Hamburg Beer Week with Axel Ohm bringing together the best craft beers. Wine lovers can discover new trends and stories at Message in a bottle – Lovers love Wine with Marian Kreuzer.

The Pop-Up Kitchen is expected to be even more popular this year than it was in 2024. Top chefs like Koer, Engel, Batu, André, Underdocks, and many others will serve their creative dishes – fresh, surprising, and delicious. Right next door, the Tide & Tonic Bar will create the best drinks in town from hotspots like The Player, Goldener Handschuh, and Jing Jing.

The festival will run from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday at the large market in Hamburg. Visitors can access it via Amsinckstraße 66 or Bankstraße 28. Dogs and other animals are not allowed at the event.
