Agromek 2024, the largest agricultural fair in Northern Europe, took place from November 26 to 29, 2024, in MCH Messecenter Herning. This event was a testament to the vibrant and innovative spirit of the agricultural sector. The opening day of Agromek was marked by the official inauguration on Tuesday morning. Both the Minister of Food and the fair's chairman delivered positive and forward-looking speeches, setting a tone of optimism for the event. One notable development during this period was Thaler Danmark's acquisition of import rights for planning machines from Kilver.dk, expanding their portfolio with high-quality Belgian planning machines.

During Agromek, a new innovation area called the Knowledge and Innovation Area was introduced on the Main Stage. This area brought together policymakers, knowledge, and industry leaders to discuss the future of Danish agriculture. Another highlight was the Agromek Award Show on November 26th, where six companies were honored for their outstanding product innovations.

The fair also featured a green future theme, with the Biogas Area evolving into Energy Hall by incorporating technologies such as pyrolysis and Power-to-X. Engaging presentations were held on both Danish and English languages at Energy Stage.

Agromek has been a biennial event since its inception 50 years ago. It brings together the entire agricultural industry, its suppliers, customers, and partners in one large fair with seven sectors.
