The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India’s premier industry association and largest exhibition organizer, is set to present the 17th edition of the International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME) from October 23rd to 26th, 2024, at the Science City Exhibition Ground in Kolkata, India. This event is a significant milestone in the mining sector, as India ranks among the world's leading producers of coal, mica blocks, mica splittings, and crude steel. Additionally, the country holds positions in the production of chromite, iron ore, aluminum, manganese ore, and bauxite.

Australia has been designated as the Partner Country for this event. This summit aims to highlight the role of a sustainable mining industry in Viksit Bharat.
