Rimini, the Expo Centre, will host the 42nd edition of Macfrut, the international fruit and vegetable trade fair, from May 6th to 8th, 2025. This event will be a showcase for water resource management and innovation, with a particular emphasis on water-saving and energy-efficient irrigation systems. The event will feature an interactive experimental area called "Water Revolution," which will be expanded to cover over 1000 square meters.

During the three-day event, visitors can expect to see demonstrations of modern and efficient irrigation systems. The area will also serve as an outdoor classroom, hosting school visits focused on agricultural education. The nearby ANBI stand will host the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition.

These consortia often partner with universities and advanced European projects.

Francesco Vincenzi, President of ANBI (Associazione Nazionale delle Bonifiche Italiane), explains that ANBI's proposal for a model country is centered around territory management: "Maintenance, infrastructure development, innovation, and culture are the pillars of our ANBI proposal for a model country that has the territory at its center: we represent this from our first presence at Macfrut."
