IFE, the premier sourcing and networking event for the food and drink industry, successfully concluded its 2025 edition at Excel London from 17 to 19 March. The event, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, attracted thousands of industry professionals to explore the latest innovations across various categories.

IFE showcased an impressive array of new products and startups, including All the Aunties paneer, Wriggle cricket protein burgers, Krocus & Co.’s premium saffron tea range, and CHIMMY's chimichurri sauces. The New Products Tasting Theatre featured live pitches from startups over three days, while special showcase sessions were held by organizations like FICT and Isle of Man and Free From Food Awards. International products making their UK debut included Di Marco Pinsa Romana, Hot Chip social media sensations, French tacos from Frima, and CANS' refreshing new soft drinks. Notably, The Fynoderee Distillery launched a signature gin exclusively at IFE.

Thought leaders discussed trends that are shaping the industry on IFE's Future Food stage. Public health expert Dolly van Tulleken delivered a keynote on how meaningful change in food policy can create lasting health benefits. Panel discussions covered topics such as online shopping as a predictor of food trends and the role of accelerators in shaping the industry's future.

Industry professionals praised IFE for its ability to connect them with key players and discover exciting innovations. Harneet Arora from A&A Distribution Ltd commented on the event's value in exploring emerging trends and connecting with suppliers. Jean Rossignol from Classic Fine Foods highlighted the diverse range of brands and insightful speakers.
