The Summer Construction Fair Brno, along with the Dělostavba Brno, MOBITEX, and the Architecture Festival, showcased new trends and innovations in construction and interior design on March 29, 2025. Over 20,000 visitors from various professional and general public segments attended the events, highlighting a growing interest in current trends. A total of 321 exhibitors from nine countries participated in the fair.

Among the novelties presented were Wienerberger's new anthracite-tiled V9 with a design by renowned F.A. Porsche Studio and Heluz Group's smart mortar Heluz Sidi, which accelerates masonry work. Czech firm Vezeko introduced a unique shelf with a delivery system. Foreign exhibitors, particularly those from Slovakia, also brought popular innovations such as Woodisin's world-first naturally combined sink with composite material.

The MOBITEX furniture and interior design fair attracted visitors with its wide range of seating options, high-quality beds, and newly produced interior accessories. Notable novelties included ArteLusso's Italian kitchen with an integrated draining board. Czech furniture company JECH showcased new natural fabrics and ergonomic seating options.

The Architecture Festival and its professional program were also well-attended by experts including representatives of state administration, local authorities, private investors, developers, architects, and designers. Keynote speakers included Minister of Environmental Protection Petr Hladík and Jihomoravský Region's Chairman Jan Grolich.

The conference for the Construction Fair Brno had the subtitle "Restarting Investments in Construction and Housing Development in the Czech Republic" and was linked to the educational program of the Architecture Festival. It included a forum called "Community & Investor," organized by the State Fund for Investment Support in collaboration with Jihomoravský Region involving over 100 mayors and representatives of their investment departments.

Following the Construction Fair Brno was the Architecture Festival featuring dynamic programs on various aspects of living—ranging from starter apartments to family homes to investments in recreational properties. The main theme was affordable housing.

The Longevity program focused on healthy living environments, lifestyle health impacts, color effects on psychology, etc., attracting significant interest.

Construction hackathons were held in collaboration with 4.0 National Center for Construction to popularize construction technologies. Students from seven technical universities participated in a two-day hackathon resulting in seven innovative concepts for affordable housing using various construction materials.

The skilled workers' competition included master classes in plumbing, roofing, carpentry, heating engineers, plastering, joinery work, and gas fitters. The 27th edition of U?eň Installers' Competition was organized by Cech Topenání & Instalatéři (CTI) for both professionals and general public on various topics such as heat exchangers or maintenance programs.

At MOBITEX fair alongside KAIT (Czech Association of Authorized Engineers & Technicians), there were free expert consultations at stands representing KAIT, CTI (Czech Association of Heating Engineers), Passive House Center (Centrum Pasivního Doma), Association of Prefabricated House Manufacturers (ASOBOD), and State Fund for Environmental Protection (Státní Fond ?ivotního Prostředí ČR).

At the Architecture Festival Zahradní Poradenské Centrum opened for the first time offering garden consultation services while Designérské Centrum provided design consultations at MOBITEX fair.

Hejtman Jihomoravského kraje Ji?í Ko?ál praised the Summer Construction Fair Brno as one of those significant events that are beneficial for Brno as well as for all regions around it. From a regional perspective, it is beneficial mainly due to its conference topics where he participated in panel discussions organized jointly with State Fund for Investment Support.

Ji?í Ko?ál also expressed interest in tiny houses as they appeal to him and his organization is considering them further.

Tomáš Andrezál from CERAMIC HOUSES EU expressed satisfaction that their prefab eco-ceramic houses are well-received despite low awareness about prefabricated buildings in the Czech market compared to traditional construction methods.

Visitors at MOBITEX were enthusiastic about products displayed by exhibitors like AL Pergoly who found personal contact valuable during trade shows as it provided genuine feedback on products compared to online interactions which could not replace face-to-face meetings entirely.

Overall attendance exceeded expectations; many companies reported selling out their exhibits quickly indicating high demand among both professionals and general public segments attending these events annually.
