Starting from May 28 to 31, 2025, the International Security Expo and Technology (ISET) will take place in Brno, Czech Republic. This event is part of a series of international exhibitions that also include IDET and PYROS, showcasing the latest developments in security technology. Representatives from the public sector, security forces, and armed components will be present, all of whom are interested in ensuring cybersecurity.
In addition to ISET, the International Exhibition for Defensive and Security Technologies (IDET) and the International Exhibition for Firefighting Technologies and Services (PYROS) will also be held concurrently. These exhibitions will feature expert presentations from around the world on the latest advancements in security technology.
On February 26, 2023, customs authorities demonstrated their ability to X-ray vehicles, including trucks. The Czech Republic's customs service collects taxes, ensures certain security tasks, and checks compliance with various obligations. Customs has two main levels: the General Directorate based in Prague and fifteen customs offices across the country.
In 2022, special equipment and emergency supplies from the State Material Reserves were used in 188 cases. The most frequently used equipment was necessary for fighting forest fires. Containers for remote water transport, mobile fire stations, technical firefighting containers, hay containers, and emergency relief containers were deployed. Other equipment helped with clearing bird flu outbreaks or providing water supply.
