In May 2025, the international fire safety trade show Pyros will return to Brno, Czech Republic. This specialized event is aimed primarily at experts in the field of fire protection, integrated rescue systems, health protection, life, and property. Pyros is a long-standing institution in the region, with its first edition held as far back as 1972. This year, Pyros will be held alongside the International Defense and Security Technology Trade Show IDET and the International Security Technology and Services Trade Show ISET.
On May 28-30, 2025, the Brno exhibition center will host IDET. Together with Pyros and ISET, this will showcase the latest developments in security technology from around the world. One of the new exhibitors at Pyros this year is MINERALKA d.o.o., a Slovenian company that produces fire-resistant panels FIPRO? and Thermax S, SF. MINERALKA is part of Techno-Physik Group and a subsidiary of TECHNO PHYSIK Engineering GmbH in Germany.
Makita, another long-standing exhibitor at Pyros, was founded in 1915 by Masaburo Makita. The company began producing electric motors and generators in that year. In 1958, Makita introduced its first electric tools. Today, more than 50 years later, Makita is one of the world's leading manufacturers of professional power tools with ten manufacturing plants worldwide. Thanks to collaborations with companies like Sachs-Dolmar, Fuji Robin, and Kanematsu, Makita now offers approximately 400 types of professional electric, battery-powered, and air-powered tools.
