The 2024 Vietnam International Construction, Building Materials and Home Products Exhibition (VIETBUILD Hanoi) opened in Hanoi, Vietnam, with the theme "Fusion - Twist." This event attracted over 350 companies from both domestic and international markets, showcasing nearly 1,500 booths. The exhibition aimed to promote trade and connect supply and demand, as well as facilitate technological advancements.

According to Deputy Minister of Construction Ky Vong, the real estate market plays a crucial role in influencing various industries, including construction materials and interior decoration. Over the past period, government departments have been actively promoting the rapid development of the real estate market. Deputy Minister Vong also highlighted that the construction industry is a rapidly growing economic sector. It contributes to industrialization efforts and supports the economic growth of the capital city.

The Hanoi People's Committee Deputy Director Tran Du Khanh emphasized that the construction industry is a key driver of economic growth. He noted that infrastructure development, residential sector renovation, and coordinated growth with information technology applications are among the city's top priorities. The VIETBUILD Hanoi International Exhibition aims to create conditions for balanced development over five years, fostering connections between supply and demand, assisting businesses in production and operations, and promoting cooperation for sustainable development.

The exhibition featured advanced technologies from more than 800 new companies across 2,000 booths. Over 50% of exhibitors were foreign enterprises with thousands of construction products. The event also included an international seminar on construction materials held in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the traditional 65th anniversary of the construction industry.
