The 37th International Wood Processing Machines, Cutting Tools and Hand Tools Fair, known as WoodTech 2024, took place from October 12-16, 2024, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul. Organized in collaboration with RX Tüyap and the Woodworking Machinery Industrialist Association (A?MSAD), and supported by the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), this fair attracted a total of 22,639 industry professionals as visitors, including 3,609 from abroad.

WoodTech Fair showcased a wide range of solutions across various industries, from forestry machinery to woodworking machinery, surface treatment machines, and machinery and technical equipment used in assembly, packaging, and joining processes. The event provided 369 companies and company representatives with new export opportunities and business connections. Visitors had the chance to explore over 1,200 machines on display and discover the latest innovations in the industry.

The fair's scope was vast, covering a significant area of exhibition space. With an impressive exhibition area of over 150,000 square meters (approximately 1.6 million square feet), it was indeed the largest trade show in the woodworking machinery industry. This extensive exhibition area allowed visitors to experience 'Made in Türkiye' labeled machines on a global scale.

The success of WoodTech 2024 was marked by its ability to attract both local and international participants. The fair not only served as a platform for showcasing cutting-edge technology but also facilitated valuable business connections among industry professionals. As the fair concluded successfully, preparations are already underway for the next edition: the 38th International Wood Processing Machines, Cutting Tools, Hand Tools Fair is scheduled to take place between October 11-15, 2025, at its usual venue—the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul.
