The Global Need for Air Mobility is a key focus of the Advanced Drone World (ADW) conference, which has been a leading platform for innovation and progress in the air mobility industry for over a decade. This year, ADW 2025 brought together professionals, organizations, authorities, and media from across the globe to share knowledge, build connections, and address the unique challenges of air mobility.

At ADW 2025, five advisory groups were formed to make significant strides towards integrating air and ground mobility into aviation and digital ecosystems. These groups aim to leverage existing infrastructure, vehicles, applications, and foster cross-sector collaboration to address global challenges in air mobility. The advisory groups focus on key areas such as digital infrastructure, eVTOLs and UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems), rules and regulations, mobility hubs, and cities and regions.

One of the highlights of ADW 2025 was the emphasis on practical solutions that can accelerate the growth of the air mobility economy. Each advisory group is committed to moving beyond theoretical discussions and concentrating on actionable plans that can be implemented immediately. For instance, the Mobility Hubs group aims to combine the expertise of both 'ground' and 'air' stakeholders to create more efficient transportation solutions.

In addition to these advancements, ADW 2025 also showcased European eVTOL ambitions being put on hold due to regulatory uncertainties. However, there was a notable development in the UAE with the first approved commercial vertiport being established. This event underscores the rapid progress being made in urban air mobility.

ADW continues to be a top-level meeting point where all key players from various industries gather to co-create and cooperate on solutions for air mobility.
