The INTERGEM trade fair, scheduled to take place from April 11 to 13, 2025, in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, was unfortunately canceled. The event, which usually attracts a significant number of visitors and exhibitors, was expected to showcase the latest trends and innovations in the gemstone industry.
Idar-Oberstein is renowned for its rich history in gemstone cutting and trading. The fair was anticipated to cover an extensive area of approximately 10,000 square meters, providing ample space for exhibitors to display their products and engage with potential buyers. Typically, around 300 exhibitors from various countries would participate, along with thousands of visitors from the gemstone industry.
Despite the cancellation, the organizers remain committed to supporting the industry and are exploring alternative methods to connect exhibitors and visitors. Horst Ogait, Günter Gillmann, Anne Fischer, Alexander Weinss, and Mirko Arend form the dedicated team that supports these efforts. They can be reached at horst.ogait@messe-io.de, guenter.gillmann@messe-io.de, anne.fischer@messe-io.de, alexander.weinss@messe-io.de, and mirko.arend@messe-io.de respectively.
