The 57th edition of the West Shore Art Fair (WSAF) is set to take place in downtown Ludington’s Rotary Park on July 5-6, 2025. This renowned fine art fair, known for its juried selection process and diverse array of media, attracts artists and visitors from across Michigan and beyond. Featuring over 100 original works from various artistic disciplines, including clay, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, painting, photography, and sculpture, the WSAF promises a vibrant and enriching experience for all attendees.
Applications for the WSAF are now open and will be accepted from November 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025. Artists are required to submit three images of their artwork along with an image of their booth. There is a $40 application fee; however, artists can save $10 by using the code eb2025 before December 31, 2024. The fair offers several amenities to support artists during the event, including on-site breakfasts each morning on Saturday and Sunday, booth sitters throughout the weekend, water wagons for hydration, food stations on-site, overnight park security on Friday and Saturday nights, and awards for top artists in each category.
In addition to showcasing original artwork across multiple categories such as clay, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metals, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, wood, and other media not fitting into specific categories (with specific rules for each), the WSAF also includes live music performances and food stations. Children can engage in creative activities at a dedicated area featuring crafts and a children's art buying tent where they can purchase original art pieces for just $5.
The Ludington Area Center for the Arts manages this community-driven event with a focus on fostering access to arts and culture in West Michigan.
