The 7th edition of agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia is set to take place from June 19-21, 2025, at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa. This event, organized by fairtrade Messe in collaboration with Prana Events, promises to be a significant milestone in the agrofood and plastprintpack industries of Ethiopia.

Over a hundred leading exhibitors from twelve countries, including Austria, China, Denmark, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Taiwan, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates, will present tailored products and solutions for the Ethiopian market. The event will also feature active government participation from key ministries and associations. Notably, for the first time in 2025, the Ethiopia Food Show and Ethiopica Coffee Show will take place simultaneously but on different hall levels.

In the previous year's edition (2024), agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia attracted 3,483 registered trade visitors who engaged with 122 exhibitors from 12 countries. According to a digital survey of exhibitors, an impressive 95% of participants were satisfied or very satisfied with the number of visitors. Additionally, 83% found the quality of visitors to be pleasing and 81% appreciated the business opportunities that arose from the fair.

The event is expected to foster innovation and collaboration among stakeholders from across the globe. State Minister of Industry H.E. Mr Hassan Mohammed emphasized that agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia serves as a platform to showcase Ethiopia's immense potential and foster international cooperation. With agriculture contributing significantly to Ethiopia's economy—accounting for about 33% of GDP and providing employment for over 66% of its population—the event aims to drive growth in these sectors.
