The 7th International Trade Show, Plastprintpack & Agrofood Ethiopia, is set to take place from June 19 to 21, 2025, at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa. This event is a significant milestone in the Ethiopian plastprintpack and agrofood sectors, following the success of its previous editions. The show is organized by fairtrade Messe in collaboration with local partners Prana Events.

This year's event promises to be even more vibrant, with over a hundred leading exhibitors from twelve countries participating. These include Austria, China, Denmark, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Taiwan, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates. Each exhibitor will present tailored products and solutions specifically designed for the Ethiopian market. Notably, for the first time in 2025, the Ethiopia Food Show and Ethiopica Coffee Show will take place simultaneously but on different hall levels.

Government participation is also a highlight of this year's event. Key ministries of the Ethiopian government will actively participate in this trade show. Additionally, top-level conferences will be organized by associations such as the Ethiopian Beverages Manufacturing Industries Association and the Ethiopian Plastic and Rubber Manufacturers Association.

In terms of visitor quality and satisfaction from previous years, the 6th edition of Plastprintpack & Agrofood Ethiopia in 2024 was widely acclaimed. Over three days, it facilitated thousands of B2B meetings between 3,483 registered trade visitors from Ethiopia and neighboring countries and 122 exhibitors from twelve countries. According to a digital exhibitor satisfaction survey where 95% of exhibitors participated:

- 85% were satisfied or very satisfied with the number of visitors.
- 83% were pleased with their quality.
- 81% appreciated the business opportunities following the fair.

These results indicate that participants found significant value in attending this event. With such high satisfaction rates and plans for many exhibitors to return for future editions (91% plan to participate again), it is clear that this trade show is an essential platform for fostering innovation and collaboration within Ethiopia's plastprintpack and agrofood industries.
