SEACare 2024, the largest healthcare exhibition in Malaysia, recently concluded with a significant impact on the healthcare industry. The event, held over several days, attracted a substantial number of trade visitors and exhibitors from various countries.

The exhibition was a platform for knowledge sharing and networking, featuring 325 exhibitors representing 100 companies from 15 countries. These companies showcased their latest products and services, contributing to a total potential sales value of RM685.3 million. Additionally, the event generated over RM2 million in public relations value, highlighting its importance in the industry.

A total of 8107 trade visitors from 61 countries participated in SEACare 2024. This diverse group of attendees included healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry experts who engaged in 9 knowledge sharing sessions. These sessions covered various topics relevant to the healthcare sector, providing valuable insights and fostering collaboration among participants.

The exhibition was not only about showcasing products but also about professional development. It was triple CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accredited by the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), Malaysian Dental Council (MDC), and Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS). This accreditation ensured that attendees could earn credits for their continuous professional development.

Furthermore, SEACare 2024 facilitated business networking through the sending of 1834 network business appointments. These appointments helped exhibitors connect with potential clients and partners, enhancing their market reach and business opportunities.

The event also featured an opening ceremony attended by Dato Lukanisman bin Awang Sauni, Deputy Minister of Health of Malaysia, and a soft launch by YBhg. Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz, CEO of MATRADE. These high-level officials underscored the significance of SEACare 2024 in promoting healthcare innovation and international cooperation.
