ARCOmadrid, the International Contemporary Art Fair of Spain, is set to celebrate its 44th edition from March 5 to 9, 2025. The fair will center around the Amazonas project, curated by Denilson Baniwa and María Wills in collaboration with the Institute for Postnatural Studies. The theme, "Wametisé: ideas for an amazofuturismo," will explore new modes of creation that represent hybrid existences between human, vegetal, physical, and metaphysical bodies. This year, ARCOmadrid will feature 800 collectors and professionals from 36 countries, along with 206 galleries.

The Program General section of ARCOmadrid is composed of galleries and projects selected by the Organizing Committee. Additionally, the fair includes comisariated sections such as Opening. Nuevas Galerías, which showcases a selection of galleries under seven years old, curated by Cristina Anglada and Anissa Touati. Another section, Perfiles | Arte Latinoamericano, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, reinforces the historical link between ARCOmadrid and Latin American art.

During ARCOmadrid 2025, the First Collector service by Fundación Banco Santander will provide personalized advice for those new to art collecting. This service aims to make the art buying process more accessible and enjoyable for beginners. The fair will also feature adquisitions and awards ceremonies.

ARCOmadrid is renowned for its high-quality artistic content and continues to be a must-visit event for art enthusiasts. With its focus on contemporary art from diverse regions and innovative curatorial approaches, ARCOmadrid remains a significant platform in the international art market.
