The 47th Travel+ International Tourism Exhibition and Adventure Festival, held in Budapest from February 19-22, 2026, was a resounding success, attracting over 23,000 visitors and 250 exhibitors from 35 countries. The Budapest Boat Show, Caravan Salon, and E-bike Test&Show were integral parts of the exhibition, showcasing the latest trends in travel and leisure. Notably, the foreign guest of honour was Slovakia, which presented itself with a large stand and various curiosities and tastings. The Hungarian Guest of Honour was Balaton in Four Seasons and VisitBalaton365, highlighting the beauty of Hungary's largest lake.
The event also included a sustainability island and an island for travel agents and travel insurance companies, fostering direct interactions between market players and their prospective clients. Additionally, the Blogger Corner was a big hit again this year, with backpackers giving talks at the Roadless Festival. The E-bike Test&Show was another novelty that garnered significant interest; thousands of people tried out electric bikes on a dedicated test track covering 3000 square metres.
