Inalight, the ASEAN's largest and most important trade show for the lighting industry, is set to take place from April 23 to 25, 2025, at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has released a roadmap that aims to phase out mercury-containing fluorescent lighting products by 2025. This action plan will significantly boost the demand for LED lighting products as the best solution for mercury-free lighting in the country. According to the roadmap, the CAGR of the LED and lighting market in Indonesia is expected to reach 20.64% by 2026, resulting in a projected market volume of USD 41.3 million. The number of active households is also expected to increase to about 15.2 million households by 2026, with a household penetration rate of 19.2%.
Inalight not only highlights the growing market demands but also showcases a wide range of technologies, innovations, and solutions related to LED and lighting industry. This exhibition is particularly significant for its potential to stimulate the production of high-efficiency LED lighting technology, which will help reduce electricity consumption and carbon emissions in Indonesia.
