The 32nd edition of SATTE, South Asia’s leading travel and tourism exhibition, was inaugurated on March 15, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The event, themed “Tourism 2025: Fostering Global Collaboration for Mutual Growth,” brought together global industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to shape the future of travel and tourism. The inauguration was attended by esteemed dignitaries including Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Culture, Government of India, and Smt. V. Vidyavathi, Tourism Secretary, Government of India.

SATTE 2025 showcased a robust platform for domestic and international buyers and professionals from the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry. With over 535 exhibitors covering an area of 10173+ SQM and attracting more than 11445 visitors, the exhibition emphasized its significance in fostering global collaboration within the industry. Eight state tourism boards from various Indian states participated in the event, representing a diverse range of destinations.

SriLankan Airlines highlighted its strong presence at SATTE 2025 as a key partner. The airline aims to achieve strong double-digit growth by engaging with key tour operators through this platform. Similarly, Azerbaijan Tourism Board expressed its excitement about returning to SATTE as partners. Over the years, their partnership has been instrumental in shaping a favorable image for Azerbaijan.

To ensure safety and security amidst the new normal, SATTE introduced Informa AllSecure—a comprehensive approach to enhanced health and safety standards at its events. This initiative includes measures such as physical distancing, protect and detect protocols, cleaning and hygiene practices, and detailed communications on these principles.

With such a successful inaugural event under its belt, SATTE is poised to continue its leadership role in India’s tourism landscape. As it moves forward into future editions like SATTE 2026 at Yashobhoomi Convention Center in Dwarka, New Delhi, it promises to offer even more opportunities for growth and collaboration within the travel and tourism sector.
