BUILDEX Vancouver, a leading event for the building and construction industry, took place on February 11 and 12, 2025, at the Vancouver Convention Centre West. This event was designed to meet the needs of Western Canada's building and construction industries, providing a platform for professionals to access transformative ideas and cutting-edge products. The event attracted over 8,000 industry professionals, with more than 340 trailblazing exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services. Additionally, over 200 expert speakers shared their knowledge on various topics such as code and policy updates, accessible and adaptable design, risk mitigation, and more.
The conference program at BUILDEX Vancouver included more than 90 sessions that covered a wide range of topics. Selected sessions were accredited for continuing education credits by organizations such as AIBC, IDCEC, BC Housing, PMI, and BOMI. The trade show floor featured over 350 cutting-edge exhibitors who demonstrated the latest products and services transforming the industry. Attendees could discover their next project partners through these exhibits.
Networking was a key component of BUILDEX Vancouver. The event provided numerous networking opportunities for industry experts, leaders, and visionaries from across BC's built environment. From young professionals to industry veterans, startups to multinational companies, there were countless connections made at BUILDEX. A new addition to the event in 2025 was WoodWorks at BUILDEX, which integrated WoodWorks' technical expertise into the event.
The Innovation & Networking Hub offered free-to-attend event content, live demo sessions, panel discussions, and networking events. Topics covered included digital innovation in the modular housing supply chain and architectural precast concrete wall panels. The VRCA Connector Lounge was another highlight of the event, providing a buzzing hub for industry professionals to connect and share insights.
