The 18th International Exhibition, Electronica-Transport 2025, is set to take place from April 28-30, 2025, in Moscow at Expocenter Fairgrounds. This specialized exhibition focuses on integrating IT and electronics for urban transport infrastructure, including subways, railways, and city public transport. It serves as a unique platform for sharing experiences and discussing common challenges in the field.

This event is part of the Russian Urban Mobility Week, which also includes the Electric Mobility Forum ElectroTrans and the CityBus urban bus transport expo. Supported by the Russian Transport Ministry, State Duma Transport Committee, International Association Metro, RUT MIIT (Leading Transport University of Russia), and Moscow City Administration, Electronica-Transport aims to provide up-to-date information on on-board electronics, control systems, communication technologies, navigation systems, information systems, and security systems.

In 2024, the exhibition attracted 140 companies and over 3000 experts from more than 1000 enterprises. The market for electronic equipment in transport is valued at approximately $5 billion USD with an annual growth rate of 5-20%, depending on the type of equipment. Key features of transport electronics include high reliability, safety, modularity, mechanical and climatic stability. Additionally, specific features for Russian transport include low-temperature operation (down to -50°C) and dust resistance, long mean time between service operation due to power supply instability (PS), and a preference for wireless technology that can easily communicate with older equipment.

The exhibition aims to provide customers with current information in these fields and to suggest reliable electronic components and software for developers and manufacturers of systems. It is particularly valuable for engineers and technical experts involved in designing, manufacturing, and operating electronics and IT solutions for transport use.
