Hotel Interiors Experience (HIX) 2024, held at London’s Business Design Centre from November 27 to 28, was a vibrant celebration of everything that makes hotels incredible. The event brought together developers, investors, suppliers, independent hoteliers, operators, project managers, FF&E procurement specialists, interior designers, interior architects, and general managers under one roof to explore the latest trends in hotel design.
The two-day expo featured talks, installations, and networking opportunities that showcased the best established and emerging brands in the hotel interiors supply chain. Marie Soliman-Berglund from Bergman Design House expressed her excitement about the event: "The energy is amazing... it feels so fresh!" This sentiment was echoed by many attendees who found HIX to be a platform for projects and innovation.
HIX welcomed a diverse range of participants from around the world. The event covered an impressive exhibition area of 52 Upper St, London N1 0QH. With a total of 168 exhibitors and over 1000 attendees in attendance, HIX LDN 2024 provided an excellent opportunity for professionals to connect and discover new trends in hotel design.
In addition to the main event, HIX also launched several thought-provoking discussions on themes such as creating a sense of place and the importance of history in hotels. These talks were part of HIX THINX series, which aimed to explore how designers can transform spaces into memorable destinations.
As we look forward to HIX 2025 and beyond, it is clear that this event continues to play a crucial role in shaping the future of hotel design. With its focus on innovation and collaboration, HIX remains an essential platform for those passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences.
