The Spielwiesn, the largest board game fair in Southern Germany, celebrated its 30th anniversary in Augsburg from November 7th to 9th, 2025. This year's event saw a significant increase in exhibitors and visitors, marking a new chapter in the fair's history. With nearly 15,000 attendees from Bavaria and neighboring regions, the fair once again proved to be a resounding success.

This year's Spielwiesn showcased over 4,000 games in the legendary game library, featuring more than 200 new releases from the 2024 edition. Nearly 80 volunteer rule explainers ensured that visitors could enjoy the games to the fullest. The fair also welcomed an impressive 43% more exhibitors and brands compared to the previous year, with three halls dedicated to hosting over 2,200 game tables.
