From November 15 to 17, 2025, BolognaFiere will host the 15th edition of the Independent Winegrowers' Market (MIV), an event exclusively for wine enthusiasts of quality, artisanal, and regional wines. This market is organized by the Italian Independent Winegrowers Federation (FIVI) and will feature over 1,000 independent winegrowers from all over Italy. The event will take place in BolognaFiere, where a total area of 30,000 square meters has been allocated across four pavilions.
The market will open its doors to the public from 11:00 to 19:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and from 11:00 to 17:00 on Monday. Visitors can expect to taste and purchase wines directly from the independent winegrowers, who will share their stories and showcase their work. The event is not only a celebration of wine but also a unique opportunity to learn about the dedication and passion of independent winegrowers.
In addition to the main event, there will be a special opening on Piazza Costituzione on November 15, 2025, allowing visitors to enter without needing to use internal shuttles. This year's edition of MIV is expected to attract a large number of visitors, surpassing the attendance figures of previous years. In fact, the MIV in November 2024 saw a significant increase in visitors compared to the previous year.
The FIVI is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests and needs of Italian independent winegrowers. These individuals are responsible for every stage of wine production, from grape cultivation to bottling and marketing. The FIVI aims to support these viticulturists by providing them with resources and information that can help them succeed in their craft.
