Every two years, experts from Germany and around the world gather in Leipzig for the leading European trade fair, denkmal. This event focuses on preservation, restoration, and old building renovation. The next fair is scheduled for November 5-7, 2026.

The trade fair is supported by numerous national and international partners. In 2024, the event was complemented by the Lehmbau trade fair and MUTEC. The 2024 edition of denkmal attracted a significant number of visitors, marking a successful anniversary.

In 2024, denkmal featured four main thematic pillars: materials and tools, specialized craft businesses, restorers, and institutions. A total of 499 exhibitors from 26 countries participated alongside 13,400 visitors (together with MUTEC). Ideal sponsors include the Verband der Restauratoren (VDR), Vereinigung der Denkmalfachm?ter in den L?ndern (VDL), Dachverband der Restauratoren im Handwerk (DRH), and Deutsches Nationalkomitee für Denkmalschutz (DNK).
