Brazilian solar energy has been setting new growth records, with over 39 GW of installed capacity. The Northeast region, particularly Fortaleza, is at the forefront of this expansion. With six of its nine states ranking among the top ten in centralized generation and 20% of the country’s distributed generation capacity, the region holds immense potential for further growth. This promising scenario is set to be highlighted at Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste, the most significant solar energy event in the region.

Organized by Aranda Eventos & Congressos in collaboration with Solar Promotion International from Germany, the summit will feature discussions on strategies for the future of the solar industry. The state of Ceará, which has the fourth-largest centralized generation output and 833.8 MW of installed capacity for distributed generation, is emerging as one of the most promising states in Brazil. It has also shown remarkable potential to lead in green hydrogen production, with over 30 Memorandums of Understanding already signed and several companies expecting to begin production as early as 2024.

Now in its fourth edition and a solid event in Fortaleza’s official event calendar, Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste will feature 100 exhibitors in a 50 m² space and attract an expected 30+ visitors.
