The 30th edition of Bett Brasil, the largest event for education innovation and technology in Latin America, is set to take place from April 28 to May 1, 2025, at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. Guided by the theme "Education to Face Crises and Build Regenerative Futures," the event will address social, environmental, and economic challenges impacting education in Brazil and worldwide. The program will feature 12 simultaneous auditoriums across four days, covering subthemes such as climate crisis, artificial intelligence, mental health, learning to do, access, permanence, and equity in education, and human development.
One of the highlights of the event is the Forum of Managers. This forum is designed for leaders and managers of public and private basic education institutions across the country. It will feature more than 16 sessions with over 30 speakers. Among the notable speakers is Xavier Araguay from Reimagine Education, who will deliver a keynote titled "Are We Prepared to Lead the Educational Transformation That Is Coming?" The session will explore how educational institutions can anticipate and lead changes that impact teachers, families, and students.
Another important topic is the new rule on restricting mobile phone use in schools. The panel will include Judge Vanessa Cavalieri and Alexandre Le Voci Sayad from ZeitGeist (Education, Culture, and Media) and UNESCO MIL Alliance co-president. The discussion will cover the impacts of banning devices, regulatory challenges, and strategies to transform mobile phones into pedagogical allies.
Strategic leadership during crises is another key theme. A panel titled "How to Maintain Strategic Leadership During Crises and Transformation?" will feature Thamila Zaher from Grupo SEB, Mario Guio from Instituto Alfa e Beto, and Amábile Pacios from Federação Nacional das Escolas Particulares (Fenep). The discussion will focus on decision-making challenges faced by leaders during crises.
The forum also includes sessions such as "Caring for Those Who Care: Mental Health and School Climate," which will be led by Vivian Dias from EAI Educa. This session will reflect on current mental health issues in education and how developing socioemotional skills can strengthen teacher well-being and promote a positive school climate.
Another panel will explore didactic materials as a tool for transformation in basic education. Bruno Prado from Rede Damas Educacional and Ricardo Tavares from FTD Educação will discuss the effectiveness of didactic materials in student formation and how they can be improved to meet new educational demands.
The program also includes sessions like "Strategic Financial Management: How Reliable Data Can Turn Registration Periods into Growth Opportunities," "What Does Neuroscience Tell Us About Mental Health in Schools: Six Strategies You Can Put into Practice Tomorrow," "School-Home Relationship: Tutoring as an Educational Innovation Tool," "Inclusive Education and Regenerative Futures: Paths to Welcoming All Students," and "What Are Esports and Why Do They Matter in Education?"
