E-world 2025, held from February 11 to 13, 2025, at Messe Essen, concluded with record-breaking results. With a record 980 exhibitors from 34 nations and a trade fair area larger than ever before, the event showcased the energy industry's leading trade fair status. The three-day event attracted 33,000 trade visitors, a ten percent increase from the previous year, representing over 70 nations. Exhibitors showcased innovations crucial to the energy transition. For instance, digital twins for heating networks' efficient use were demonstrated alongside solar carports and systems for photovoltaic electricity marketing by companies. Flexibility management systems and energy storage systems also played significant roles in reducing costs for end consumers.
The financing of the energy and heating transition was discussed at many events during E-world. At the Energy Leadership Meeting before the trade fair, industry leaders addressed topics such as climate neutrality and competitiveness for the industry.
E-world is also attractive to young professionals; over 1,300 registrations were made for Career Day. Students and young professionals had opportunities to network with companies and explore career paths.
Exhibitors and visitors were highly satisfied with their participation in E-world 2025. Ninety-four percent of trade visitors recommended the trade fair to others and planned to visit again. On the exhibitor side, there was strong interest in participating again; ninety-seven percent stated they wanted to take part in E?world again.
In conclusion, E-world 2025 set new records in terms of exhibitors and visitors while reinforcing its position as Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry.
