Pickering Interfaces will showcase its advanced testing solutions at The Battery Show & Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo South 2025, which takes place from April 16-17, 2025, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This event, now in its 15th year in North America, is the largest and most comprehensive advanced battery and hybrid/electric vehicle (H/EV) technology show. The exhibition will bring together leading exhibitors from various applications including automotive, materials, stationary energy storage, mining, recycling, medical, aerospace, commercial, and industrial sectors.
At booth 318, Pickering Interfaces will demonstrate its BMS (Battery Management System) test rig and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulation solutions for ECU/VCU. Stephen Jenkins, Simulation Product Manager at Pickering Interfaces, explains the importance of BMS testing: "With the increasing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), effective testing and validation of BMS are crucial. Our modular PXI-based switch and simulation modules offer flexibility and ease of modification to meet evolving needs while providing seamless integration with multi-vendor instrumentation."
The BMS HIL test demo will feature several Pickering products including a PXI battery simulator module for simulating stacked batteries and a PXI fault insertion module for simulating cell shorts and broken wires. Additionally, high power and high voltage switching modules housed in an LXI chassis will be on display. Pickering Interfaces will also highlight its range of PXI/PXIe high voltage switching solutions up to 9kV and hardware-in-the-loop modules such as fault insertion and programmable resistor modules.
The exhibition is expected to attract a significant number of attendees. The event is co-located with the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and aims to explore emerging markets and technologies while keeping pace with regional industry trends. With over 300 exhibitors expected to participate this year, attendees can explore a wide range of products and innovations tailored to various applications.
