The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) is set to host the Medical Powder Metallurgy Seminar in Saint-Étienne, France, from October 14-15, 2025. This event, co-organized with CETIM and ENISE, aims to explore the transformative role of powder metallurgy (PM) technologies in the medical sector. The seminar will provide a comprehensive platform for professionals to discuss advancements, applications, and future trends of PM in medical devices and healthcare solutions.

Applications are now open for contributors to this event. The seminar will cover various topics, including case studies on implants and tools, equipment production techniques such as Additive Manufacturing (AM), Metal Injection Molding (MIM), and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), medical post-processing techniques, perspectives from medical doctors and applications, normalization and standards for medical PM, and powders for medical applications. EU projects on medical PM will also be highlighted.

The seminar will take place at the Technopole LTDS & CETIM Facilities in Saint-Étienne.
