The Romano Mineralogical Group (RMG) has been organizing the annual "Rome Mineral Show" at the Ergife Palace Hotel & Conference Center since 1979. Founded in 1972, the RMG is a non-profit cultural association. It brings together enthusiasts of mineralogy, paleontology, and geology to promote the study, research, collection, and exchange of minerals and fossils. The "Rome Mineral Show" is one of the most important mineralogy events in Central and Southern Italy. It especially caters to an audience interested in minerals, gemstones, rocks, fossils, shells of any kind and origin, publications, studies, and research in geology or related fields. Since its inception, it has grown into one of the most attended events, bringing together exhibitors from around the world, institutions, and prestigious entities over a vast exhibition area. Admission to the fair is free and is open to both the general public and industry professionals. Every year, many exhibitors from different countries participate in the event. Public institutions such as the University of Rome also have specific sections dedicated to scientific dissemination, suitable for both adults and children. During the event, themed lectures on mineralogy, fossils, or other related scientific subjects are held in a designated area. The Ergife Palace Hotel, where the Roma Mineral Show takes place, is easily accessible by car or public transport. The hotel also has its own parking garage. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, from which you can reach the historic city center in no time. The Vatican City, with the seat of the Pope and the center of the Roman Catholic Church and its countless famous works of art and buildings, is only 4 km from the hotel. The Roma Mineral Show takes place annually, and therefore for the 45th time previsibly in December 2025 in Rome.
