In the new, modern exhibition centre the Mall Porta Nuova the Shop Expo takes place every year, an exhibition and conference on retail solutions exclusively directed towards trade visitors such as shop managers, franchisees, marketing experts and sales promotion agencies. The exhibition range includes mainly advertising mediums, systems, concepts and visual elements aimed at promoting sales in retail stores. In this context, the use of IT and electronics play an important role, but traditional mediums such as mannequins, posters and inflatable items are presented as well. Due to the fact that the exhibition also offers furnishings, floorings and wall coverings, architects and designers are also welcome. Up-to date and relevant aspects of the industry are deepened in the form of seminars. The exhibition centre is located in the new Porta Nuova business district and can be easily reached by high-speed trains, underground and overground lines. For visitors arriving by car underground parking liable to costs is available. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 21. March to 23. March 2018, about 112 exhibitors and 2187 visitors on the ShopExpo in Milan. The ShopExpo in Milan realized for the sixth time took place from Wed., 16.09.2020 to Fri., 18.09.2020.
