The "Iran agrofood" is an internationally renowned agricultural exhibition that takes place annually at the Tehran International Exhibition Center, also known as the Tehran International Permanent Fairgrounds. The trade fair was founded in 1994 by the fairtrade Messe und Ausstellungs GmbH & Co. KG, and since 2004, the Iranian partner Palar Samaneh Co. has also been involved. Since then, it has grown to become the largest agricultural exhibition in Iran. This trade show serves as a business platform for foreign exporters and Iranian importers of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as for everyone involved in agriculture. It covers a broad spectrum of products, technologies, and services, including equipment for livestock and poultry farming, fish farming equipment, fertilizers and plant protection products, storage systems, feeding equipment, grain systems, irrigation systems, milk processing equipment, veterinary syringes, and much more. Supported by the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture and Economy, the "Iran agrofood" focuses on the exchange of technologies, products, and expertise in the agricultural industry. Each year, it attracts thousands of professional visitors and exhibitors from around the world and has established itself as an indispensable event in the Iranian agricultural calendar. Parallel to the "Iran agrofood", the trade shows "iran food + bev tec", "iran food ingredients", and "iran food + hospitality" are held, providing a comprehensive platform for exhibitors and visitors and enabling synergies. In summary, the "Iran agrofood" is a standout event in the Iranian agricultural industry. It enables industry players to discover the latest trends, technologies, and products, forge networks, and strengthen business relationships. Thanks to the support of the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture and Economy, it has established itself as the main driver of innovation and growth in the country's agriculture. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 17. June to 20. June 2022, about 616 exhibitors from 17 countries and 40000 visitors on the Iran agrofood in Tehran. This year the Iran agrofood takes place on 4 days from Mon., 09.06.2025 to Thur., 12.06.2025 in Tehran already for the thirty-second time.
