The "Indo Water Expo & Forum" is an international trade fair held annually at the JIExpo Jakarta International Expo in Jakarta. It was launched by PT. Napindo Media Ashatama. The name "Indo Water" is a combination of "Indo", which stands for Indonesia, and "Water", the English word for water. This highlights the central importance of water as the main theme of the fair and the role of Indonesia as the host country. The main themes of the fair are mainly drinking water treatment and wastewater treatment. A special focus is on control and monitoring techniques as well as on processes for removing organic and inorganic contaminants with the aim of ensuring water quality. The fair attracts exhibitors from various fields, especially from water treatment, wastewater technology and related technology fields. They present their latest products and services there. The audience consists of professionals from the above-mentioned fields as well as all those looking for innovative solutions and technologies in the water industry. A special highlight are the parallel events "Indo Waste and Recycling Expo and Forum" and the "Indo Renergy & Electric Expo & Forum", which are dedicated to the topics of waste management, recycling and renewable and sustainable energies. The JIExpo Jakarta International Expo is a renowned event location in Jakarta and is easily accessible by public transport and by car. Jakarta, as a vibrant metropolis, offers visitors a wealth of cultural and tourist attractions in addition to the trade fair. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 05. October to 07. October 2022, about 227 exhibitors from 19 countries and 9112 visitors from 33 countries on the Indo Water Expo & Forum in Jakarta. The Indo Water Expo & Forum will take place on 3 days from Wednesday, 13. August to Friday, 15. August 2025 in Jakarta.
