With more than 150 exhibitors the Food & Technology Expo provides a business-to-business platform to secure one-to-one business deals and market the brands to broader food industry customers. The expo is held in India, the billion people market with vast opportunities for international and local players in the food, beverage and related technologies sectors. The food sector in India is one of the largest in terms of production, consumption, export and growth prospects. The government has accorded it a high priority, with a number of fiscal relief and incentives, to encourage commercialization and value addition to agricultural produce for minimizing pre/post-harvest wastage, generating employment and export growth. The expo will feature manufacturers and suppliers of processed food, organic food, beverages, bakery products, dairy products and confectioneries as well as related processing and packaging technologies including cleaning, grading, sorting, milling and packaging technologies for rice, pulses, wheat and other food grains. The Global Food & Technology Expo take place annually, and therefore presumably in August 2024 in New Delhi.
