At this high-profile event of an industry that is one of the main pillars of the Indian economy some 150 exhibitors, especially exporters, exhibit their products. Several main hubs of the silk industry from all regions of India, among them Andhra, Tamilnadu, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal are represented at the exhibition. Every region has its own special design and weaving technology, which makes the exhibition range quite diverse. In addition to clothing and clothing accessories other silk and silk blended products, such as bed covers, cushions, pouches and bags are offered as well. The fair is explicitly aimed at visitors from overseas. The India International Silk Fair in New Delhi took place from Thur., 28.07.2022 to Sat., 30.07.2022 for the 7th time.
