The student exchange fair "Auf in die Welt" is an important education fair that takes place at the Pascal Gymnasium in Münster. The one-day information event on stays abroad for students is usually held irregularly and is under the patronage of the non-profit organization German Foundation for International Understanding, which is actively committed to international education and exchange. This foundation initiates numerous student exchange fairs nationwide, often directly in schools. The importance of stays abroad for young people is constantly increasing and represents an important point in their CV. The fair therefore offers students, parents and teachers comprehensive advice on the possibilities of stays abroad during and after school, as well as on financial support and scholarships. Topics covered include student exchanges, semesters abroad, language trips, volunteer work, internships and work & travel. Special highlights include the classic student exchange (high school), boarding schools, private schools, holiday and summer camps, language courses and the teaching of intercultural competence, education and personal development.
