Every year in December, usually on the third weekend of Advent, the "Wolfegger Advent Market" takes place over three days at the Farmhouse Museum in Wolfegg. Selected exhibitors offer a unique range of handmade products, handicrafts, and culinary delights. Amidst the picturesque backdrop of the historic museum building, you'll find Christmas trees, lights, and in the evening, fire baskets that create a cozy atmosphere. The Farmer's House Museum Allgäu-Oberschwaben Wolfegg is located in the Ravensburg district, very close to Lake Constance, and showcases the rural cultural history of Upper Swabia and the western Allgäu through numerous authentically furnished, historical farmhouses. Visitors are also treated to musical performances to get them into the Christmas spirit: on all days, various brass and music groups play traditional Christmas tunes amidst the market. Culinary delights are not in short supply at the Advent Market at the Farmhouse Museum Wolfegg either you can naturally find mulled wine, children's punch, or flaming punch, and over the hearth, waffles and pancakes are baked. Christmas treats like homemade pear bread, hot chestnuts, or chocolate-covered apples can also be found. The Christmas market in Wolfegg took place from Friday, 13. December to Sunday, 15.
