The Wülflinger Christmas Market, located in the Wülflingen district of Haßfurt, has been inviting visitors since its first opening in 2022 to experience the Advent season in a unique atmosphere. This special event takes place annually on the first weekend of Advent. Numerous regional private and commercial vendors sell goods ranging from handmade crafts to decorative items, jewelry, and wood carvings. The Christmas market is held at the Wässernachhalle in Wülflingen. There are ample parking facilities at the Wässernachhalle and at TSV Wülflingen. The culinary needs of visitors are well catered for. The market offers a rich variety of food and beverages, from mulled wine and drinks to grilled sausages and fries with dips. Visitors can expect a diverse program of events. Not to be forgotten is the city of Haßfurt itself, a city with a rich history and impressive sights. Haßfurt is the county seat of the Haßberge district in the Bavarian administrative region of Lower Franconia, located 20 km east of Schweinfurt. The city on the Main River was founded around 1230 as a border fortification between the dioceses of Würzburg and Bamberg. Of the former city fortifications, the two gate towers, the upper tower, known as the Bamberg Gate, and the lower tower, also known as the Würzburg Gate, still exist today.
