The expoSE & expoDirekt, annual fairs taking place every November, represent an outstanding platform within the agricultural sector. They are considered leading trade fairs for asparagus and berry production as well as for the direct distribution of agricultural products. The expoSE, established in 1996 and initially located in Bruchsal, found its permanent home at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre starting in 2003. Its founding was initiated by the Association of South German Asparagus and Strawberry Growers e.V. (VSSE), which not only represents the interests of producers but also acts as a catalyst for innovations and progress in the industry. The fair is characterized by its comprehensive presentation of products and services essential for the cultivation and distribution of asparagus and berries. This includes machinery, plant protection products, fertilizers, and packaging solutions. The expoDirekt complements this range with products and services for the direct marketing of agricultural produce, including marketing concepts, cash register systems, and marketing strategies. The fairs offer a unique opportunity to establish business contacts and exchange information on the latest trends and scientific findings. Exhibitors and visitors can meet at a high-caliber forum where competent consultants from various institutions are ready to answer questions and discuss the implementation of scientific findings in practice. Another highlight of the expoSE & expoDirekt is the extensive congress that takes place parallel to the fair. The twenty-ninth edition of the expoSE & expoDirekt Karlsruhe takes place on 2 days from Wed., 19.11.2025 to Thur., 20.11.2025 in Rheinstetten.
