The Chiemgau Outdoor Festival combines trade fair character with festival feeling. On the open-air ground situated between Chiemsee and the Chiemgau Alps, the unique concept not only presents the regional outdoor opportunities, but also a wide variety of lectures, movie screening and panel discussions on the subject of outdoor, travel, sustainability and sport. On the large expo area, the visitors can find out about the latest products, innovations and services, test and buy them. The free activities, live music and the diverse framework program complete the concept. The guests can spend the weekend in a tent, in their own camper or even in one of the alpine huts. Awareness of nature and a sustainable lifestyle is what we owe our next generation. With a valid day or weekend ticket, you can travel free of charge with the Bavarian regional train enabling a stress-free and low-emission arrival and departure from Salzburg, Munich and the Allgäu. On site, the organizers offer free shuttle buses between the festival site, the train station and the Chiemsee. Anyone who books a guided tour in the mountains or would like to explore the Chiemgau Alps independently can book the inexpensive shuttle buses and does not need a car.
