The interpack is considered one of the world's leading trade fairs for packaging solutions and processes and takes place in the impressive Messe Düsseldorf - one of the largest and most modern exhibition centers in Europe. As a major city in the Ruhr area, Düsseldorf offers excellent transport links, including an international airport, and a wide range of hotels and restaurants. The fair, which was launched in 1958, takes place every three years. Organized by the well-known Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, a German trade fair organizer that is renowned for holding numerous international trade fairs and congresses, interpack focuses on processes and machines for packaging food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, consumer goods (non-food), and industrial goods.
