Around 90 visual artists present and sell their own productions over three days at the artists' fair in Dresden. The spectrum of this largest sales and contact forum for the fine arts in Saxony ranges from aspiring newcomers to established artists. The event builds a bridge from the state capital Dresden and the surrounding region to partner cities and everywhere where artists with an art diploma from Dresden live. In addition to individual positions, groups from producer galleries and artists' houses from all artistic genres will be presented. The special charm The fair thrives on the direct encounter between artists and art enthusiasts, collectors and exhibitors. Under the motto “meet the artist”, the event aims not only at sales but also at exchange and a friendly get-together between the art scene and everyone interested in art. In a small exhibition, the fair takes up the content of the large special exhibition of its cooperation partner, the German Hygiene Museum, and looks back on the local art history of the last years of the GDR up to the first years after the peaceful revolution.
