About
The ChamlandSchau has been held annually since 1983. It attracts around 50,000 visitors from the Cham district, neighboring districts, and the neighboring country of Czech Republic. With about 200 exhibitors, the ChamlandSchau is the largest commercial show in the Upper Palatinate and the eastern Bavarian border region. The range of exhibitors is well-balanced between trade, crafts, and services. Most of the exhibitors come from the region, but companies from the Czech Republic and Austria are also represented at the fair, offering personal contact with customers. Both the exhibition hall and the outdoor area at the fairgrounds are used to showcase as many different sectors as possible. During all four days of the fair, visitors can expect a comprehensive accompanying program and exhibition agenda. In 2018, a health-specialty fair, ChamlandVital, was integrated into the ChamlandSchau, thus increasing its appeal for both visitors and exhibitors. Up until 2023, the ChamlandShow was organized by MV service-advertising GmbH based in Pemfling. The new organizer of the fair is now the provi – Marketing and Event Agency in Traitsching. In addition to the ChamlandSchau, the provi – Marketing and Event Agency also organizes the fairs ChamlandVital, ChamlandBuild, and ChamlandCareer. The ChamlandSchau will take place on 4 days from Friday, 19. September to Monday, 22. September 2025 in Cham.
