With around 50 exhibitors and speakers from all continents, the European Bamboo Expo is the premier trade fair in Europe, bringing together experts and professionals to showcase and shape the promising future of bamboo as a raw material. Over 20 speakers will share insights from their respective countries, and universities will present their latest research findings. Concurrently, approximately 30 exhibitors will demonstrate their products and explain to the engaged audience why bamboo is an outstanding and sustainable resource. As a carbon-absorbing plant, bamboo absorbs 30% more carbon than trees while producing 30% more oxygen, making it a significant solution to the climate crisis. There will also be a unique music event on Friday evening, featuring instruments made from bamboo. Additionally, a workshop on bamboo construction will be offered on both days, providing participants with the opportunity to learn how to build sustainable and long-lasting structures using bamboo. This workshop, led by seasoned experts in the field, presents an excellent opportunity to expand skills and knowledge in bamboo utilization.
