The Vocatium trade fair in Aachen is an event focused on training and studies. It brings together companies, technical colleges and universities, academies, and institutions to engage in a personal dialogue with young people on the subject of career choice. The unique feature of Vocatium is the well-prepared and scheduled meetings between students and exhibitors. Consequently, the quality and benefits of the counseling interview are higher for both exhibitors and young people compared to a conventional career orientation fair. Before the trade fair, schoolchildren are prepared for their visit by the team from the organizer IfT Institute for Talent Development. Subsequently, IfT arranges individual appointments with exhibitors that are tailored to the students' professional interests and wishes. Students receive these individual appointments 14 days before the trade fair date, allowing them to prepare for the interview with specific questions and, if necessary, an application folder. Spontaneous visitors without appointments are also welcome at the study fair. In addition to personal talks with exhibitors, all visitors to Vocatium in Aachen will have access to an informative program of lectures. The unique trade fair concept with scheduled meetings has been established in 90 locations throughout Germany. The vocatium will take place on 2 days from Thursday, 08. May to Friday, 09.
