The vocatium in Ilsenburg is a trade fair for training and studies that brings companies, technical colleges and universities, academies, and institutions into personal dialogue with young people on the subject of career choice. The unique selling point of vocatium is the well-prepared and scheduled talks between students and exhibitors. As a result, the quality and benefits of the counseling interviews are higher for both the exhibitors and the young people than at a conventional career orientation fair. Before the trade fair, students are prepared for the visit by the team from the organizer, IfT Institute for Talent Development. Following this, the IfT organizes individual appointments with the exhibitors that are tailored to the students' professional interests and wishes. Students receive these individual appointments 14 days before the date of the trade fair so that they can prepare themselves for their interview at the training fair with specific questions and, if necessary, an application folder. Spontaneous visitors without appointments are also very welcome at the study fair. In addition to personal talks with the exhibitors, all visitors to the vocatium in Ilsenburg are offered an informative lecture program. The unique trade fair concept with scheduled meetings has established itself at 90 locations throughout Germany. The vocatium Harz will take place on 2 days from Wednesday, 07. May to Thursday, 08. May 2025 in Ilsenburg.
