The Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants, in English "Wine Fair of the Independent Winemakers," takes place annually in Angers and is organized by the Vignerons Indépendants de France, Paris. It also takes place at other locations. Here, you will find a wide range of wines from independent winemakers from different wine regions such as Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy-Beaujolais, Languedoc-Roussillon, Provence-Corsica, South-West Armagnac, Loire Valley-Vendée, and Rhône Valley. Wine-tasting sessions are also offered, wherein experts explain the rules of tasting, varietal terms, and responsible consumption. All food stalls are run by growers, offering a variety of foods, including charcuterie, foie gras, cheese, oysters, and more. At the end of the fair, the medal-winning exhibitors are announced at the Concours des Vignerons Indépendants. The Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants takes place annually, and therefore for the fourth time previsibly in February 2026 in Angers.
